Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7. This annual academic conference allows outstanding senior students to present the results of their capstone research, creative writing and internships. This year there are over 90 students presenting their capstone projects and an additional 37 presenting posters. These students represent the departments and programs of Sustainable Business, Creative Writing, Global Studies, Social Work, Sociology and Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, Environmental Policy, Math, History and Political Science, Religious Studies, Integrative Studies, Traditional Music, and the Natural Science Seminar.
Congratulations to Trey Jones, Jake Soled and Stefan Trilling, students who presented original research at the Carolinas Conference for Undergraduate Psychology in Raleigh on Saturday, April 20.

Chris Gragtmans, former Wilson student and UNC-A graduate, will discuss how you can create a path that allows you to pursue your passion and make a living too! Chris is an elite athlete (paddler), engaging speaker, and a business owner. He also writes a regular column for Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine. He is the Pro Team Manager and a member of Dagger Kayaks, and has paddled for the Canadian Kayak Freestyle team.

Following, a panel discussion on depression, anxiety, ADHD. Practitioner-panelists include craniosacral & somato-emotional release therapists, plant spirit healer, clinical psychologist (Bob Swoap!!!), and acupuncturist.
