The Warren Wilson College Choir offers the opportunity to participate in a choral ensemble that prepares a repertoire of music from a variety of periods and styles. The ensemble consists of students, faculty, and staff of the College as well as alumni and community members of all ages.
• Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 6-8 PM, in Kittredge Rehearsal/Recital Hall. Attendance in all rehearsals and performances is required. Additional rehearsals may be added prior to performances.
• Academic credit: Students are encouraged, but not required, to add this 1-credit course to their semester load.
• Costs: There is no fee to participate in the College Choir. Music will be provided. Performance attire will be determined later.
• Auditions: Auditions are required for all participants in the College Choir. The audition is to determine singers’ vocal range and capabilities and to make sure each member of the ensemble is able to match pitches and sing in tune. A prepared song is not required. Individual auditions will be less than 10 minutes; only the director will hear auditions.
