GIS Day 2009!

Yes, it's that time again, where we take a day in November to give thanks for geospatial analysis. Come celebrate with us on Wednesday, November 18 as we recognize Geographic Information Systems Day at WWC! We've got a great lineup of events:

10:00am - 11:00am Open House -- come look at maps, have a cookie, and chat with the crew
11:00am - 11:30am Open Source GIS presentation - Corey White
11:30am - 12:00pm Mapping Community Health - Nora Purcell
12:00pm - 1:00pm Open House -- more coffee, more cookies, more maps
1:00pm - 1:30pm GIS: Revolutionizing the way we look at our Planet - Josh Hubing-Cooper
2:30pm - until? Geocaching! Treasure hunt w/GPS for fabulous prizes

All events take place in Morse 303 (well, except for geocaching, which starts there and then heads outside). Hope you can make it!
