"Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds." ~ Buddha.
WWC students, faculty, and staff have served with a local Buddhist community, Urban Dharma, located downtown at 29 Page Avenue, Asheville. Working in groups or individually, often alongside Urban Dharma volunteers, 27 members of the WWC community led or assisted in a range of projects from setting up a computer network to painting, cleaning, and organizing. WWC students have logged over 150 service hours so far this year. Staff, faculty, and their family members contributed many additional hours.
