WWC Archaeological Field School 2001
The Berry Site
Day 4, 5/31/01

The shed is done and some very interesting material continues to come out of the ground. There are some postholes visible now in square N882E202 and a rock-filled pit in the SE corner of N882E204. With the plow zone removed from N882E210, there are now remnants of a burned structure visible in the northern part of the square. Our main goal this season is to evaluate the condition of this and other burned architecture at the site.

Dave Moore trowels clean a large piece of partially burned timber from structure visible in N882E210, and Linda Wall takes notes about excavations in this square.
